BA (Hons), MScPT
Corey Hafner graduated from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, Scotland with a Masters in Physical Therapy, after completing a Specialized Honours degree in Kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario. She is also a member of the Ontario Physiotherapy Association in good standing.
Corey has had the opportunity to work in a number of rehabilitation settings, including inpatient neurorehabilitation, cardiorespiratory, ICU, as well as outpatient musculoskeletal facilities. She has gained invaluable experience working with a variety of populations and knows that care must be tailored to each patient and their condition.
Corey has a passion for helping people while empowering them to contribute to their own health. She takes time to find the root of a person’s problem and cooperatively with them creates a personalized treatment plan to address their immediate concerns and prevent relapses. Once their conditions have been rehabilitated, Corey helps her patients realize their full potential and improve their quality of life through exercise.
Corey believes that continuing education is a crucial component in order to stay in touch with the latest literature and research to provide the best care. In clinical practice, her treatment philosophy includes an evidence-based approach that involves comprehensive assessment, hands-on manual therapy, modalities, exercise prescription and patient education to help patients achieve optimal outcomes.
When not in clinical practice, Corey enjoys an active lifestyle, running and weight training.
